Cycle Parking

When you arrive at work, go on a shopping trip, or visit the library or the swimming pool on your bicycle, you will need somewhere to park it. Ideally, there will be a dedicated cycle parking area offering

Unfortunately, it is extremely rare to find all of these features, even at locations where the management really ought to know better. And worse, there are many places where there are just no facilities at all.

This page could be regarded as a guide to the potential user. We are unlikely to leave the bike at home when we visit (say) a sports centre because the cycle parking facilities are inconvenient or inadequate, but we may go to a different sports centre. It is also a league table of facilities, compiled to show that it DOES matter to us, and that we WOULD like facilities to be improved.

This 6-bike park in Weybridge High Street is thoughtfully provided with phones and toilet! The wide path in High Street, E. Molesey offers bike bars between shrubs & bus stop. The new Weybridge Hospital has a 6-bike shed well placed close to the entrance.
